Behind the scenes: how I build a prompt pack from scratch

Building a prompt pack isn’t just sitting down and typing a few commands. It starts with a problem I notice in my own work or from messages I get. Like, “I spend too long writing product descriptions” or “I can’t get a consistent brand voice.”

Then I experiment for a few days. I try different phrasings, test them on real projects, and see which ones actually produce usable output. I keep notes on what works and what doesn’t — it’s basically a lab notebook for prompts.

Once I have a solid set, I organize them into a logical flow, write a quick guide on how to use them, and then run a beta test with a small group. They give me feedback, I refine, and then I package it for the store.

The whole process takes about a week, but it’s worth it. When you get a pack, you know it’s been through the wringer — not just a list of ideas I thought sounded good.
